This years season didn't start quite as good as last years. RMY_NJ and will0281 form the site came down for a 3/4 day striper trip. Things did not go so well. Broke the inlet and was greeted by 49 degree water Shocked Shocked Dropped the lines and began to troll up the beach. Went as far as the bathing beach and back and NADA. Could see them on the finder, they just wouldn't eat. We had to cut the trip short as the third member of the party turned a little green......Well actually a lot of green. Sorry guys, guess that's why its called fishing.

Had the Lanning crew out for a 3/4 day fluke trip yesterday. We left the dock and were greeted by a lovely NE wind, overcast skies, and drizzle. I gotta say they were troopers wearing shorts and tee shrits while yours truely was wearing sweats and rain gear. They hung in there though and boated 22 fluke, with 6 in the box and a cocktail blue.

Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Well it's over for another season, the Amy Marie is out of the water and ready for her long winters rest. I'd like to thank those of you from the site who fished with me this season. Hopefully, come next season I'll get to meet a few more of you and see a couple of fimilar faces return. To those of you still in looking for some fall stripers good luck and tight lines...

Sincerely

The season opened with a flop. Sad Had will0281 and Miss Sarah out for a 3/4 day striper trip and we couldn't buy a fish. We trolled from Seaside to the Inlet for one knock down. I guess that's why they call it fishing. Sorry guys, better luck next time.

Tough day for the Amy Marie today. Had the Barteck crew down for there first time ever fishing experience. As hard as I tried the best I could do was a few shorts, although the crew fed 2 trolling squids and a whole pint of killies to the fish. The highlight of the day was a spider crab, none of them had ever seen one and the took a load of pictures including a video. Hopefully next time we'll do a little better.

Had the Kelly crew out again yesterday. This time we had non-stop action all day boating 90 fluke, with 4 four the box. We also picked up a few blues and sea bass. Great day on the water.
